About Me
I was Initiated in December 1953 by my Father who was Master of my Mother Lodge : The Stechford Lodge No. 3185 in the Masonic Province of Worcestershire in the English Constitution. I have been Installed into the chair of this Lodge in 1966; 1996; and 2006 (Our Centenary Year) I am also a Past Master of a Research Lodge in the Masonic Province of Warwickshire - Academe No. 9377.. I was appointed Provincial Grand Treasurer in 1971, promoted to Past Provincial Senior Grand Warden in 1978. In 1984 I received the rank of a Grand Officer of the United Grand Lodge of England PGSt.B. In 2000 I was promoted to PAGDC. I have been a member of most Masonic Degrees and Orders and have been a Founder of 2 Craft Lodges, 1 Royal Arch Chapter, 2 Knights Templar and 1 Rose Croix.. Between the years 2003 - 2006 I have written One Hundred Short Talks on the Craft entitled "A Daily Advancement in Masonic Knowledge" they have been published and over 20,000 copies have been sold worldwide with the proceeds going to Masonic Charities. My web site is : www.masonicshortalks.com - Please have a quick look -:) My present project is to re-write William Prestons' Book of Lectures into modern prose. It is in a Trilogy: First Degree is entitled "The Tongue of Good Report" Second Degree is "The Hidden Mysteries of Nature & Science" Third Degree (almost complete) is "The Five Points of Fellowship" Finally I am a regular contributor to "The Square" magazine published by Ian Allen Lewis Masonic in London. I recommend this as the best independent Masonic Publication available. I am delighted to have been asked to join this splendid initiative and I hope that one day I will be able to visit your Lodge , maybe with a small group of Brethren from my two Craft Lodges. Warmest Fraternal Regards to you all. Ray Hollins |

About Me
Hello All, I am an Australian by birth however have Scottish heritage on both sides of my Familt Tree. Gordon's via the name Atchession who came out on he 2nd Fleet in 1789. I'm am not so sure about our Fathers side other than there is a Cinnection the the Fraser clan. Being Pitt's we assumed that was an English connection, however it has to be remembered that "Pitt the Younger" was very friendly with the Gordon's and appointed them to high position in Edinburgh. My brother and I visited in 1984 and I for one left my heart there, so I raise a wee dram and toast to your Lodge and thank you for the invitation. Stewart - Marquis of Bondi :-) |
